Every week, we gather as a community in worship, prayer, engagement with scripture, and connection with one another. Join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for our weekly worship service.

Life Groups
The journey of following Jesus is not something that happens on our own — we need each other! That’s why we have Life Groups, or small groups of around 8-12 people, meeting together weekly or bi-weekly to care for each other, spiritually challenge and encourage one another, and invite others into God’s family.
Not every Life Group looks the same! There is a variety of groups and commitment levels. Please contact us for more information about joining a Life Group.
Conversational English Class
This is a loving group of our people who provide a relational, comfortable setting where international people can practice their English skills with native speakers. We provide cultural teaching, discussion, and reading God’s Word. We hope they will explore and relate to Canadian culture, and build deep friendships with church Christians and the other participants. The class goes from 9:00 to 10:15 every Sunday morning from September to June. We provide transportation to those who need it, as well as snacks and beverages.
Children
At Faith River, it’s our desire that we welcome children like Jesus did! During our Sunday worship services, we provide programming to allow children to grow relationally and spiritually in a safe and fun environment.
Nursery
The nursery is open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., but fully supervised starting at 10:45 a.m. when Children’s Church begins. The nursery volunteers will play and read stories to those in their care. Parental supervision is needed during times when there is no volunteer supervision provided.
Children's Church
During the message, children will be dismissed for their own learning experience through songs, Bible stories, and other activities provided. There is a class for younger students in preschool-grade 1, and older students in grades 2-5.
Nursery and Children’s Church run from September to June (except weekends with statutory holidays) and take a break in July and August.
We have a safe place policy. If your child is attending Nursery or Children’s Church, please remember to sign them in downstairs, in as well as sign them out after the service.
Children who stay with their parents during the message can find activity and colouring pages in a basket at the back of the sanctuary.
Youth
Grades 6-12
Friday evening, 2 times a month
7-9 p.m.
It’s our desire for our youth to be discipled and grow in their relationship with God. At youth, we create a space where young people can have fun, be accepted, discover the Bible, and be challenged to grow in their relationship with God.

“Senior” Youth (50+)
The elder crowd at Faith River is a rambunctious group of persons with varying degrees of silver in their hair. We strongly believe in the value of cross-generation ministry, and so this group focuses not only on the fellowship and personal growth of the older crowd, but also on inspiring and connecting with the entire church family in various ways. Whether it is at a church yard sale, a mystery supper, or some other crazy activity, you are sure to see our Senior Youth members scurrying around somewhere!
